Gobin Global is a values-based small business (woman-owned and disadvantaged) experienced in generating evidence and learning in complex environments around the world. Our multinational team of experts has successfully delivered projects in more than 50 countries (including conflict-affected and emergency settings) across monitoring and evaluation, learning, market development and assessments, data, economic evaluation, financing, knowledge management, and strategic communications. We support results-oriented programming that promotes economic growth globally.

Stacie Gobin
Principal
Principal
Stacie Gobin is the Principal and Founder of Gobin Global. Stacie provides corporate strategy and operations leadership, and oversees Gobin Global’s programs, business development, and operations functions. Stacie is responsible delivering exceptional outcomes for our existing projects and spearheading continued growth.
Stacie has extensive experience as an international development and humanitarian practitioner, consultant, researcher, and MEL specialist. Stacie is experienced in managing evaluations, development research, and value for money (VfM) studies. She is also adept in training and knowledge management and dissemination and has been instrumental in building the capacity of young MEL professionals.
As an advisor to global, regional, and local organizations, Stacie has provided strategy consulting, training, and program design support across multiple thematic areas. She is a trained health economist and has applied her evaluation and economic analysis skills outside of the health sector to education, nutrition, agriculture, food security, climate, resilience, governance, economic growth, WASH, and women and girls’ empowerment programs. She is multilingual and has worked in over twenty countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Stacie has an MPH, a BA in International Development, and a BA in Anthropology (all from the George Washington University). She previously served on the faculty at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, South University, and the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College University. Stacie is based at the Gobin Global main offices in Ashville, North Carolina.

Lindsey Hehman
Technical Advisor Lindsey Heyman is a Technical Advisor at Gobin Global, is an evaluation expert with over 15 years of experience. Her expertise includes conducting economic research for a variety of donors and development organizations. Lindsey is skilled at applying tools for the collection and use of high-quality data and the strengthening of MEL and cost systems. Lindsey is able to apply data verification and analysis, statistical modelling, and technology skills to identify performance trends and gaps and develop realistic, actionable solutions. Lindsey serves as Gobin Global’s Country Representative in South Africa and has spent nine years based in the Southern African region. Lindsay received her BS in Economics from Bentley University in Waltham, MA and is working on an MPH at the University of Cape Town.
Peter Masoi
Program Specialist Peter Masoi is a Program Specialist at Gobin Global LLC, where he brings extensive experience in program management and social research. Throughout his career, Peter has excelled in conducting primary data collection and supporting fieldwork protocols and procedures. His adeptness at managing research projects encompasses both administrative and project management perspectives, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes. Peter’s dedication and expertise make him a valuable asset to the Gobin Global team, contributing significantly to the organization's mission of fostering positive change and enhancing community well-being worldwide. Peter earned a BA in Rural Development
from Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania. |
Samuel Okoth
Technical Advisor Samuel Okoth, a Technical Advisor at Gobin Global, has extensive expertise and technical knowledge in economic evaluations across multiple development thematic areas. He previously served as a Research & MEL Specialist for Save the Children Kenya and later as the Global Economics Advisor for Save the Children International supporting Save’s more than 120+ countries and dozens of evaluations, both experimental and quasi-experimental. Samuel is Gobin Global’s Country Representative in Kenya. Samuel holds a BS degree in Business Information Technology from Mount Kenya University and he received an MA in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi. Samuel's education includes
certifications in monitoring and evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management and impact evaluation from Georgetown University, among other training. Emily Mitchell
Technical Advisor
Emily Mitchell, a Technical Advisor at Gobin Global, is an evaluator with a diverse background in humanitarian and development contexts. Throughout her 10-year career, she has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to design and conduct multi-sectoral research contexts, utilizing various qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. She has extensive skills in economic evaluation, having led evaluations, developed capacity-building approaches, and has led teams for VfM studies. Emily received her BS in Mathematics from the University of Manchester and an MA in Development Economics and International Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). |
Dr. Michael Kusi Appiah

Economist
Dr. Michael Kusi Appiah is an economist, who has been supporting INGOs, international development agencies, government departments, academic research institutions, and businesses with their research and policy questions since 2008. He has extensive experience in M&E, research and assessment, policy development, health feasibility studies, health financing, health insurance, costing and logistics, and economic evaluation of humanitarian health programs in Africa and Asia. Michael is also a Chief Analyst and National Development Policy Evaluator in Ghana and has deep knowledge related to child small-scale mining and child labor, human rights due diligence in the sourcing of extractive and raw materials, and entrepreneurship development. He has a Master’s in Agriculture Economics and a PhD in Economics. He has worked in countries such as China, Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, Mali, Madagascar, South Sudan, France, USA, and the UK.
