Agriculture and Food Security
Gobin Global’s deep experience working on agriculture and food security evaluations include leading a resilience evidence gap analyses as part of USAID/Ethiopia’s Resilience Learning Activity Learning Agenda. This study focused on aggregating and organizing the evidence on how USAID-funded activities enhanced household food security and reduced barriers to social services. Other agriculture-related projects include a performance evaluation of USAID’s regional (Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala) Sembrando Oportunidades program focusing on strengthening small-holder agriculture as part of a package of interventions intended to reduce irregular migration. Gobin Global’s additional work on agriculture and food security in east Africa
includes leading the final evaluation of the FINCA USDA-funded microfinance program in Tanzania. We are also experienced leading economic evaluation on agriculture in food security in fragile environments including value for money (VfM) support to the United Nations and Livelihoods and Food Security Fund (LIFT) in Myanmar. This supported included enhanced frameworks and metrics, support to semi- and annual report coordination, and capacity building.
